Christina: Trust me, until yesterday, I didn't know what they were, either! Fulgerite's my favorite--the glass made from when lightning strikes sand...although it's not entirely like what the movie Sweet Home Alabama portrays...
Lois--I sometimes love it. I like finding interesting tangents (like the fulgerite), but usually I just want to write and dislike getting slowed down by research that pops up in my way!

Those sound interesting. I love the researching part of writing.
