...that I'm really really glad American Idol is OVER so now I can finally stop hearing about it?
It sucks being the only person in the entire friggin' country who could care less about that show.
(Side note: 14 more days of school!!!!!! Maybe then I can finally get back to a regular writing schedule! I'm swamped with school; it's invaded my subconscious...)

Actually after this season's end, I have decided I'm done with the show. There's been too many indicators over the years that the publishers have an active hand in who wins. Call me conspiracy theorist, but I believe it's true. And I'm done.
I have liked it in the past...but I teach night classes now, so I haven't been able to watch it. I don't care so much about it.
*raising hand*
I'm with you on the couldn't-care-less attitude. Never have, never will. :)
Hmmm... Obviously our ploy to lure you into are American Idol obsession hasn't worked.
Will try harder next season...
I don't watch it either, Beth.
I'm not even IN the country, but I'm sick of it too!
I watched Season #1 and haven't watched it since. Occasionally if I find beginning season show (while flipping channels) I watch just because it's hilarious to see how awful some people sing. Otherwise, I hadn't hurt of Adam or Kris (from this season) until last night and then it was only because my sis called to ask if she could "borrow our TV" to watch Idol since she doesn't have cable right now. I guess my life just doesn't revolve around TV.
Goodness, I can't type today.
beginning season shows*
hadn't heard of*
I don't watch it either. Don't care to--I've never really watched it. Not my thing--you are not alone!
seriously - were we separated at birth? we don't care for Idol, we didn't rave about Time Traveler's Wife, our Goodreads lists are pretty much twinkies, I sorely miss NC - wait, that's a little off topic...
I watched AI the first two years it came out. I haven't watching it in years since. There is nothing charming, talented or worthy of the show in my opinion. (Hugs)Indigo
I don't like American Idol either! Yay I found people like me!
Snarf.
I know what you mean. Part of me feels bad for contributing to the Idolness, even if I am making FUN of it. But then again, it just begs to be made fun of.
I don't even had cable. You can count me in the care-less group.
You're not alone, Beth. I don't have TV reception, and so have never even seen it. :D
I have actually never watched a whole episode of American Idol in my life >_<
Although I did think it was funny when they had that one Asian guy who was REALLY bad but people bought his cd
