Angela at the Bookshelf Muse is the genius behind the Setting Thesaurus and let me do a post on setting in science fiction--specifically, a cryogenics lab. If you've never checked the Thesauri Angela runs, you should!
(Also: the comment function debate continues. Several people have recommended Disqus to me--if you'd like to check it out and compare it to Intense Debate, please do so! I won't do anything until after the blog tour.)

I'm going to check it out now.
I missed earlier episodes of the "comment debate" but here's my 2 cents anyway:
I like having options (my blog / url) and I'm not against other comment options, but I don't like having to log into them and enter yet another password (i may not comment if that's my only option)
And please blog world ....turn off the word verifications...make it EASY for people to comment.
Thanks for the heads up Beth, Bookshelf Muse is a great site, I've bookmarked it now.
You did such a beautiful job on your entry, and I love how you addressed not only the setting of the cryp chamber but also some of the big concerns for realism in creating scifi settings.
You da best!

That was a great guest post, Beth.
I prefer the regular Blogger comment function. With some others I have to create another log-in or click on an email link to activate it.
