Justus's comments on my last post made me want to find some good info on voices for a post here. And look! The Bookshelf Muse did my work for me! Angela just posted a link to a great site about voice. :)

I read the post and some of the comments. I'd say the sum of it is this: finding your voice takes courage and patience.
Too many people hide their voice behind rules. Don't get me wrong, rules have a purpose, but sometimes you have to break one or two in order to "keep it real."
That's my take on it, anyway.
