I hate word verification. But I'm getting at least 4-5 spams a week (I've been deleting them as soon as I can), and that's silly. I am hoping that if I leave word verification on for a bit, it might make the spammers quit. If not, I'm afraid it must stay on.

I just did this too--I was getting XXX spam as well. Funny, just for the last month--before that it was fine. I guess the spambots found me.
I had to do that too. I posted one thread about having back pain and now I constantly get spams for someone selling meds. Bizarre.
I kind of like the word verification. It's good for a laugh once in a while. :)
It's cool. I enabled moderation on posts over 3 days old. Spammers seem to like my old posts. :(
I just did that too, because (even if it was weirdly just ONE post so far) I keep getting bizarre spam. *sigh*
Ah well.
That's terrible! I haven't had to deal with that yet.
