GUESS THAT BOOK!

At the end of this week, I'll be officially announcing a new contest, with an author feature, book review, and interview that will be happening next week.

BUT we had so much fun with the Mystery Book last time, that I thought we'd do a mini-version of it this time!

Next week, I'll be giving away the first book in the series, and the author has agreed to give away the new second book (yay! 2-book giveaway!). We'll be doing a drawing. But, if you'd like to be ahead of the game and start off with TEN extra drawing entries, all you have to do is be the first to guess the book!

Since I'm clearly crap at giving clues (I always think they're so hard, but they're really too easy), I asked the author to come up with the clues. Here they are--now let's see who's the first to GUESS THAT BOOK!

This is second in a trilogy.
The title mentions a body part.
There are stairs on the cover.
Two words: Time Travel
The main character is not human.

OK! Leave your guesses below...the first to guess the book in a comment in this post will get ten extra entries to win a copy in the contest next week.

The Golem's Eye by Jonathon Stroud? It's the only second book in a trilogy I could think of with a body part. I have no idea if it has time travel.

Wait! I amend it. Naval of the World by PJ Hoover!

Ah, nothing like being confused with Jonathon Stroud :)

Isn't it though? :D

Of course that would be Navel of the World by PJ Hoover! I can't wait to see your interview!

Dang, everybody got here before me, and I knew it was PJ's book. Wah! (well, good for PJ, since awareness is definitely there)

I would have never guessed that the main character is not human. I'll be reading it soon. I just got it in the mail today. Woohoo. So I don't need to be in the drawing. I just thought I'd comment anyway.

Okay- I immediately thought PJ Hoover, but I DIDN'T guess the right title! Just want to be sure I'm playing fairly! :)
BUT- I get at least ONE entry--right?!
I can't wait to read her new work!!! Emarald Tablet was incredible, and I believe she has a THIRD that should be out in a couple of years-VERY EXCITING! :)
