Breathless Reads Interview Week: Elizabeth Richards, author of BLACK CITY

Welcome to the Breathless Reads Interview Week! Each day this week, I'm posting a new interview from one of the five Fall 2012 Breathless Reads Authors. Today, we're celebrating Elizabeth Richards, author of BLACK CITY! BLACK CITY is a post-apoc novel with one wicked-cool cover (so! pretty!). There's conspiracy, good vs. evil, a mix of humans and ...not humans, and more! Also? Her blog is called "The Red Pen of Doom." Yes.

Now for the Interview! Because there's five books in the 2012 Breathless Reads line-up, I've got five questions for the authors.


1. Please describe your book in five words:

Dark dystopian Romeo and Juliet

The action builds toward a shocking ending – Black City was dubbed Breathless Danger for good reason!

    I must comment and give my own five words to describe this book: dark, deviant, delicious, sexy, and addictive.

    Also, 5 words to describe the MC: sexy, sexy, sexy, sexy, and sexy.

    Seriously guys, this book is every bit as intoxicating as its cover :)

    I been wanting to read Black City for soo long! I loved Romeo and Juliet (except the ending since I'm a sucker for happy endings) and I have no doubt i will love Black City as well!

    This one has been one of my most anticipated reads for a while now! Everything about this book seems amazing, and can I just say that the cover is absolutely perfect? Words can't even describe how eager I am to read this book. Awesome interview!

    i'm really interested in this book and i appreciated when arc when given some month agao that international were nearly always included that made me even more interested since author and publishers did think about us

    I'm a big fan of the Romeo & Juliet love story, even though it's been around forever. It's one of my favorites. Can't wait to read Black City!

    Black City is the 2nd book of the boxed set that I can't wait to read. I read an interview at Mostly YA Obsessed's blog, and was instantly hooked. So, I can't wait to read this book! Thanks for the post and giveeaway!

    "Dark dystopian Romeo and Juliet." Love, love, love it! :D I adore retellings of Romeo and Juliet. There's always something different and the endings always surprise me.

    Not to mention that the cover is amazing!

    -Gorgeous- Cover!!! Intriguing plot and character elements, and in five-words alone -- no less! And I'm always curious to find good post-apoc -type - stories to take in. Yep~ I am definitely wanting to read this, and very much so!! *adds this to my books to-read list at once* :))
