You

I'm exhausted.

I just tried an experiment--a whole series of reflective posts done in second person. They'll go up next week.

Meanwhile, I was reading the Elevensies blog and read the article on the Day in the Writing Life by Dawn.

And she posted something awesome.

Stickman in Fairyland!!!

I like the Gnome Knee Biters and the Unicorn Stabbing the best.

  1. That unicorn sign looks painful! lol. I wrote a piece of flashfiction in second person. I thought I'd hate it, but it's one of my favorite pieces I've written. I have it up now on WEbook's Page to Fame Shorts, and people don't like it so much. :-( I'm hoping it's because they aren't used to 2nd person as it's my one published work.

  4. Second person is scary! I'm going with stickman flattened by giant foot.

  5. Ugh, second person? I'd feel like I was being run through by a unicorn by the time I finished writing that!

I'm sure your posts will be fun, Beth!

  10. Those are hilarious! I spent a good twenty seconds just staring at them thinking, "What in the world...?"

I also like the giant foot. There is a sense of crushing inevitability about that fate.

  11. Love the unicorn sign. And the giant. Hilarious!

Curious about your 2nd person blogs. That POV totally gets the shaft. Good for you for giving it some love. :)
