Today in Class

The kids are reading an excerpt from Primo Levi's book on the Holocaust.

Kid 1: (reading from book) "...this is not a rabbinical school..."

Kid 2: What's "rabbinical"?

Kid 1: There's a footnote.... um, it means it's not a school for rabies.

Me: *blink*

Kid 1: Rabbis! Rabbis! It's not a school for rabbis!

Kid 2: Boy, that was dumb.

  3. I agree. I love these posts! Makes me almost wish I had the energy to be around teens/kids for 40 hours a week...almost.
