YES YOU CAN! Present tense rocks. I'm thinking of all the books I loved this year, and so many were in present tense. My latest WIP I wrote the first page in past, accidentally slipped into present (it was new for me) and stuck that way for the rest of the novel. Present tense is awesome! And so different! And congrats on the two pages!
Heh, I just find it HUGELY ironic I've been going on and on about how much I dislike present tense, and then I loved Adoration of Jenna Fox, and now I'm doing it myself.
I actually tried to go back and change those pages to past tense and couldn't figure out how!
