A Little Inspiration

Whenever I get stuck or need inspiration, these are some of the videos I've been checking out lately. I'm so glad I write sci fi.

The first is the longest, but prettiest: views of Earth from space.




This one just fascinates me: the Earth rising over the moon.




And finally: lightning storms seen from space. The video quality is poor, but can you imagine how beautiful it would have been to see in person?

    I love that kind of stuff! My personal favorites are pics from the Hubble. I call them space porn. So cool.

    Thank you! I was amazed by the lightning flashes (I had no idea what you'd see from space) and was totally enraptured by the beauty of the others. I love our universe!

    LOL, I was watching this interview with astronauts on the weather channel this morning and thought of your book. I even blogged about it.

    I am such a dork I want to see the IMAX Hubble movie really badly. ;)

    Those are awesome! Some gorgeous shots in the first one--loved it. The second one made a sci-fi title pop into my head, and I may have to use it, even though I've never written any real sci-fi before...hmm...
