Did You Know...

...that if it snows, and you throw a snowball, and the dog chases that snowball, and then tries to dig in the snow to find said snowball... that is the funniest thing EVAR.

I am going to do what I can to post a video of this event, but the MASSIVE amount of snow (we're up to two inches, do not talk to me all you Yankees and mid-westerners, TWO INCHES IS MAJOR IN THE SOUTH) anyway, that massive amount of snow is also blocking the interwebs, which I procure through satellite. So....

  3. I'm on the Texas Gulf Coast, and we never get snow. The scenario with the dog had me laughing so hard, I woke my dog up.

  4. Bethy, my parent's dog does this ALL the time. It is hilarious! It's her favorite pastime, actually. I think she's going to be super-sad when spring hits and all the snow melts...

  5. Never tried that trick. Ha ha. Perhaps I will. Unless it disheartens dogs too much. :'(

  7. I am a Yankee, so I get to play with my dogs like this often. Never had a problem with disheartening them, although I always end with a few rounds of play with a real ball.

Y'all (okay, I have family in MS) have fun while it lasts! (We got 8 inches here...)

  8. We got 4-5". That thing with the dog sound hilarious. I'm going to have to try that. I posted some pix from around my house and with the dogs. They were too funny. They were as excited as the kids. It was so cute.

  10. Christina--It's been great!!

Reverie--Wow, you beat me. We had maybe 4 inches, but it is all gone, except in the shade.

    Mary Lindsey--Glad you liked!

Keri--My mother's folks are up that way, and NJ seems to have gotten tons of snow! I am very jealous...

Glam--My dog will be sad, too...this is only his second time with snow, but he loves it.

Justus--My dog just think it adds to the fun! It's like a little kid with a magic trick :)

Robyn--you're more east than me, right? Seems like the eastern side of the county got more snow...I only got about 4 inches :(

Katterly--I'm so jealous! One thing I really wanted to do was make a snowman, but there's nothing sadder than seeing a dirty snowman on grass...if we just had a few more inches...

Lois--You've got to try it! It's so much fun! I'll check out your blog :)

Kelly H-Y--It's been great....just wish it would last longer!
